What is the difference between timber and composite decking?
Timber offers a natural look and feel but requires regular oiling/staining. Composite decking is made from a mix of wood fiber and plastic, making it virtually maintenance-free and highly resistant to rot and fading.
How do you ensure the decking subframe won't rot?
We use pressure-treated timber for the structural joists and ensure proper airflow and drainage beneath the deck. For maximum longevity, we also offer aluminum subframes that never rot.
Do I need a concrete base for my new deck?
Not necessarily. We can install decks on specialized adjustable pedestals or timber posts set in concrete, depending on the ground levels and the specific requirements of your garden.
